Slide 18/23

A comparison of traces measured with OCT and with ultrasound of 22 MHz and 75 MHz, shows that the location of the dermal band differs per technique. In OCT, the second dermal band is located much higher in the skin, as compared to the ultrasound traces. Apparently, the higher the frequency of ultrasound, the higher the dermal band is located in the skin.
