Ken Gregory MD, a cardiologist at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center,is developing new laser catheter procedures for intervention in heart attacks and brain stroke. He is currently developing laser thrombolysis which removes blood clots in cardiac and cerebral arteries. He is also developing laser welding of artificial tissues as a means of remote deployment of vascular linings, ureter stents, and other tissue replacement and repair applications.
