Light Transport in Tissue Vita Scott Alan Prahl was born in Laramie, Wyoming, on July 10, 1960, the son of Susan Gay Prahl and Robert Dennis Prahl. After completing his work at Enterprise High School, Redding, California, in 1978, he entered The California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. He received the degree of Bachelor of Science in applied physics from The California Institute of Technology in June 1982. In September 1982, he entered The Graduate School of The University of Texas at Austin.
